Our program works by housing women who are pregnant and who are also facing homelessness or crisis. They will be able to live in our fully furnished housing with all bills paid. This includes internet, toiletry, and household supplies. We also provide groceries from our commissary. We also have a social worker who can provide them with adoption services if needed. During their time with us, they will be encouraged to attend church and will be able to talk with our NMCCH minister. We want new mothers to develop a connection to Christ and to a church home.

During the time they are with us, new mothers will be receiving counseling and social services coordination while working on a goal-oriented plan for the near future. The time and support the program provides will allow them to make a well-informed decision about what is best for them and their baby. We will support them in their decision to either keep their baby or adopt their baby into another family.

After the baby is born, we will continue to provide housing for a period of time. Mothers who successfully complete the program will be eligible for an NMCCH grant that will help cover expenses to establish a safe and stable place to live. This may include startup costs for an apartment, utilities, etc. This grant is made available to the new mother regardless of her decision to keep her baby or place her baby for adoption.

Finally, mothers who successfully complete the program will be eligible for educational assistance that can help make plans become reality.
